Progress Report
Work on the formula has begun. Progress has been slow due to little time or money but slowly but surely she's coming along.
Here's what I've done:

Purchased a 3.73:1 rearend to replace the miserable 2.43:1 rear. Now, I'll finally be able to do something off the line.

Bought a factory tach with the little clock in it to replace the old clock.

Got a set of silver 15x8 WS6 snowflakes. I will have them refinished in gold so I can keep the original look.

Bought a new nose off of ebay and got ripped off. I'm still trying to iron out the details for a refund with the seller.

Yanked the pitiful 301 and TH250. In will go the 400 and TH400 from the old Catalina once I finish rebuilding them.

Pulled off the front clip and passenger fender. Realized that I'll need to also pull off teh driver side fender after I discovered some serious bondo behind it.

Started stripping the passenger quarterpanel down to sheet metal only to discover the reason why there was bondo in the quarter is because a new quarter has been welded on. As a side note: whoever did the body work back in what I guess would be the mid 80's did an amazing job. besides the cracking that came with age, the work looked awesome and it was hard to tell there was filler there even with a black paint job!
